SABS: The acronym ‘SABS’ stands for St. Anthony’s Boys’ School
Open Book: The ‘open book” denotes the leaming that we strive to impart to our pupils and
symbolizes the first of the three-word motto- “to learn.”
Open Hands: The “open hands’ or the ‘serving hands’ signify readiness, caring, hospitality,
generosity, turning to God in prayer and they represent the second word of our three-word
molto- “to serve” (God and Man).
Wings: The ‘wings’ are symbolic of freedom, movement, dreams, aspirations and they
characterize the third word of our three-word motto – “to shine.”
The Cross: The ‘Cross’ on the school building denotes that SABS is a Christian Minority
Institution.
1922: The figure “1922′ indicates the year of establishment.
